Well in most cases you are right about HTs in Poland but... I think it has nothing to do with any theory and working or not working. It's just another league and top guys bloody rip! Like my friend marcelrider that commented below. Most riders (including these on fullys) never reach that skill level. I personaly would like to be as fast on my Nomad as they are on 50quid worth destroyer frames. I have total respect for them, not only beacuse they go head in head with full-hobby category in Polish DH, sometimes scoring faster times. It's just how fast they are regardless of what they are riding. Someone should make a segment in some pro video about them.

Well, I this one here is a 150 fork so I guess now the bike has around 68,5. The number doesn't matter that much as I can't tell the difference between 1 degree. It just feels quite nervous. With 170mm 66 it will be more stable for sure, but at the same time I won't be able to ride XC with such high front end... I shall see.

I like HT as I started with it and later on I was a devoted HT rider even though I could afford a fully. It clearly hones skills Smile everyone should ride one from time to time. Furthermore there is this polish HT DH culture (same as in Uk I guess) that I like to relate to Smile

It would be cool to clash these two HT DH cultures in a competition one day Wink

Nomad is actualy getting covered in dust as I decided that I need to get some skills back. I was a smoother rider in the past, after 2,5 years on fully I feel that my lower body got very lazy on the bike. I need to make it active again.

I like how the bike looks but so far it handles pretty bad (at least I don't like it, the previous owner won some competitions on it and ripped couple of trails apart with it) with unusualy steep head angle. I'll se how it will ride with a 66sl fork.

Hi what's the name of the fender that you have on your Nomad? I'd really like to buy one as it looks great on your Nomad, and I happen to have a white Nomad too.

I don't like clips anymore either but only on Fully. On HT, I personaly prefer retarded balance over loosing pedals from under my feet on roots and stones Smile

Wohoo that's the original one! Props to the photographer! Makes me want to turn on Kenny Loggins - through the fireeee

Just one hint for the future: these fabrics in biking clothes like polyester - they have a pretty low ignition temperature and sometimes they tend to melt into the skin... so make sure guys U made the same preparation as the guy on the pic...

I blindly stepped on the very slicky ground called: what is art... so i guess I'm screwed... however if you Eric didn't smash me here, I might be ok Wink

In my job I work a lot with photorealistic photomontages like pasting renders of nonexisting buildings into photos of current site situation, sometime when the buidling to be torn down is still there. I have nothing against the guy who posted it, I don't want to dis him for that, everyone can post whatever they want (as long as it concerns biking Wink )

I just get annoyed to see people gloryfying a poor job. I get even more annoyed to see that some are refering to higher virtues, like calling it an art. It's like Paris Hilton talking about God... I have some bad pictures of me riding badly in the woods - how many would be happy if that turned out to be a POD?

I come from creative background so I se it as one of my duties to protect the good name of art (and of POD Wink )

wangs14 - ever heard of art of argumentation? Big Grin pssst... some call it retorics.

chudders22 - I guess I was tripping indeed, too much anti cough syrups... I hold on to my point though - a man must deliver something well thought and elaborated in order to call it a piece of art, otherwise it's just a photomontage, graphic or... and yes art evolves what is natural but recently it mostly regresses. Whaevea...

I say - this is an outrage for it to be a POD!

To all who believe this is art.

If you call it art then I guess you are one of those who believe that art is anything - you draw or paint whatever as an adult or at least a teenager, then post it on their fotoblog or digart and call yourself an artist. Basicaly you are putting this photomontage here not far from pieces of art created by artists. This is a simple set of two or more pictures, put together without any bigger thought or craftmanship in it, that without any logical reason has been promoted to be a POD.

Well I tell you my friends, you eat the bullbraaap that art galeries and art promotors fed the world with since 1950s and make it believe that some junkie painting a toilet with mustard is an artist. If they say that a couple of pieces of crap are pieces of art, then they are finaly going to find a looser that will buy one of these, for huge amount of money. Their small investment will bring them pretty nice shared income. Then there came the era of tolerance, internet with digart, fotoblogs etc. or bunch of well trained teenagers on a reality show moving as if they were paraplegic and that's "the art of dancing!" Suddenly everyone is an artist! Popoculture wants us to believe that you don't need to train and excel yourself to be an artist. No more struggle! No more sleepless nights in ateliers! Everyone can be an artist! ...just buy these clothes or this phone where you can upload you artwork and share it with your friends!

So please do yourself and a mankind a favor and don't spread that bullbraap forward, don't call things like this art, because then what is Picasso's painting, Pavarottis singing or Russian balet?

I'd really like to see the original picture (unless there was no ugly house or something in the background) as it looks nicely "moody". I like that kind of light conditions a lot. I'm not a photographer so unfortunately I have no idea what HFD means. As I assume though there is no HDR as I guess there was no need for using it (I personaly dislike HDR manipulation unless it really helps to get something really spectacular out of the picture). In many cases it is the lens filter that does the job well enough to balance levels.

ya clean as hell.. HDR hehe, vppbikefeeder, please... it would good, but why is this kitch google sky pasted in there? If the trees are blurred (by blur filter or just simply by short focal length "in reality") there's no chance for the sky to be sharp, isn't it?

heh. Mieszkam w Goteborgu w Szwecji. Ze znajomych mi tu ludzi dwoch kupilo Boxxy 2010. Teama i WC. Jeden to konkretny wymiatacz drugi to przecietniak palacy tarcze.

Z drugiej strony mam tez ALL mountain 2 z 2006r z tlumikiem SSV i jego sprezyna powietrzna to inna bajka - zdecydowanie smutniejsza.

Zeby dalo sie konkretnie zmulic amor, wtedy bawiac sie cisnienieme w komorach pozytywna negatywna mialbym znacznie wieksze mozliwosci regulacji skoku.

Cool setup. I like it how simple the bike looks. Still IMAO you could lower the rotating mass a bit. These tyres weigh a ton and the cranks are at least 100g heavier than they should be Wink Regarding the tres I don't know the kind of trails you are riding and how fast and aggressive is your riding style, if you have really rocky local trails and you like to rip the rockgardens apart, I guess you made the right choice Smile
